The online adaptation of our comprehensive 3-day training which will take place over a week, including 3 interactive Zoom sessions and incorporating individual learning materials and assignments in-between each live session.
The Training Curriculum will cover the following:
- What is participatory photography?
- Photography as a participatory medium
- Visual literacy
- Workshop and project design practicalities
- Facilitation skills
- Ethics, informed consent and copyright
- Understanding and working with risk
- Creating a safe space
- Working with text
- Participatory editing
- 30mins 1:1 consultation with each participant to discuss your projects and answer questions
Training Dates: 26th – 30th April (Live sessions will be held on the 26th, 28th and 30th of April with 2.5 hours of independent learning assignments incorporated on the 27th and 29th of April)
Live Session Times: 9:00am – 12:50pm London BST (including a few short breaks)
Maximum number of participants: 9
Training requirements: Availability to attend all 3 live sessions in full and complete independent learning assignments, Internet connection, computer with webcam and microphone capability for live sessions, preinstalled Zoom software, cameraphone for taking and sharing photos. Due to the interactive nature of the course, during the Zoom live sessions you would be expected to have your cameras on at all times.
